Sustainability consultancy launches in Manchester
Sustainable Assessments Limited has opened in Manchester city centre, led by Ben Sidebottom, a former senior consultant at Valco and Scott Hughes Design.
SAL is based in St Mary’s Parsonage. The specialist consultancy deals with BREEAM assessments, and sustainability advice.
Sidebottom’s previous projects include accredited professional services for the Co-operative Group’s 1 Angel Square with BAM, assessment services for Citylabs at the former Royal Eye Hospital with Bruntwood and Lend Lease, and Hallé St Peters in Ancoats.
Sustainable Assessments recently advised Allied London on the first phase of its £1.3bn St John’s neighbourhood at the former ITV Granada site in Manchester city centre, and is working with Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs’ St Michael’s Developments on the £150m redevelopment of Jackson’s Row.
Sidebottom is currently the sole consultant within the company and is looking to hire in the New Year.
