VM Finance beefs up Place North MIPIM partnership for 2025
After a successful MIPIM in 2024, the lender has upgraded its package for next year’s edition of the global property expo.
VM Finance will be in the South of France for MIPIM 2025 between 11 March to 14 March, aiming to make new connections and gain the latest built environment insight both locally and globally to help it in its mission to support SME housebuilders.
The firm will go to MIPIM as part of Place North’s delegation as a Partner Plus, a new offering in 2025.

The Partner Plus package includes discounted tickets to the expo, branding on the inaugural Place North stand within the UK Pavilion, as well as written and filmed content to be published during the conference.
Andrew Evans, deputy chief executive of VM Finance, explained why the company has chosen to double down with Place.
“Place has its finger on the pulse of the industry and it was a no-brainer to team up with them for a second year running in Cannes,” he said. “We look forward to working with them and getting the most out of everything MIPIM has to offer.”
Dino Moutsopoulos, managing partner at Place North, said: “VM has made a concerted effort via Place North to support the SME housing building market in the NW and across the North, so having the company join the delegation at Partner Plus level is fantastic.
“This significant investment into Place North at MIPIM is very much welcomed and will go a long way to supporting the Northern property market at MIPIM 2025. I look forward to working with Andrew Evans, John Wybar, and Saheel Walji in Cannes.”
With a headquarters in Jamaica and offices throughout the UK, VM Group is a global financial services company that traces its roots back to 1878.
Evans, who has been with the organisation for more than six years, is already looking forward to returning to MIPIM next year.
“MIPIM is one of the flagship events of the year and it’s something we mark out in our calendars each March,” he said.
“Not just a vein of rich opportunities, it’s a time and place where big conversations happen about the future of our cities and the built environment as a whole.”
He said: “As in previous years, we’ll be going to speak and listen in equal measure, taking what we learn back to the UK and using it to help our clients reach their goals.”
