WSP’s Liverpool office refurb wraps
Liverpool City Region Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram cut the ribbon on the 7,500 sq ft office at CEG’s Exchange Station.
Idaco Interior Design drew up designs for WSP’s new-look office and Contract Services carried out the fit-out.
The renovated office features an open-plan design centred around a reception area, with an array of collaboration, breakout, and meeting spaces aimed at encouraging teamwork and creativity, the company said.
In line with the firm’s sustainability goals, the refurbishment also includes the installation of ergonomic and environmentally friendly flooring, “ensuring that the office is both comfortable and eco-conscious”, according to WSP.
Dino Muscatelli, location director for WSP in Liverpool, said: “The re-opening of our Liverpool office marks an exciting new chapter for WSP in the city region.
“Our investment in this state-of-the-art space reflects our long-term commitment to both the city region and our people, ensuring that we have an inspiring environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and growth.
He added: “Exchange Station has been a fantastic base for us, and this refurbishment will enable us to further strengthen our relationships with clients and the wider Liverpool city region community.”
More than 170 staff will be based at the office.
No comment from Mayor Steve then, he might had mentioned that we need much more class A office space in Liverpool and a resolving of the impasse on the Pall Mall office scheme would help.
